The Lamborghini Revuelto represents one of the most difficult design exercises in modern performance-car development: preserving the visual identity of a naturally aspirated V12 Lamborghini while introducing a sophisticated hybrid architecture.
Lamborghini did not respond to electrification by softening its design language.
Instead, it became more geometric.
The Revuelto combines a new V12 engine with three electric motors and a dual-clutch transmission, while its carbon-fibre monofuselage extends into the front section of the car. Lamborghini describes its design language as being influenced by aerospace forms, with sculpted surfaces and strong lines defining the body.

The driving position is relatively low, and the roofline creates a strong connection between the front windscreen and rear engine structure. The driver sits within a tightly defined volume rather than inside a large luxury cockpit.
The body therefore has a strong longitudinal direction.
Lines begin near the nose, pass around the cabin and continue toward the engine compartment. Lamborghini describes these as lines inspired by aerospace forms, converging toward the rear and helping define the overall silhouette.

The same geometric language exists outside and inside, while the aerodynamic surfaces connect those visual elements to the vehicle's functional requirements.
The Revuelto therefore demonstrates how a design language can evolve without abandoning brand identity.
Its forms are sharper, its technology is more complex and its architecture is hybrid, but it still looks unmistakably like a Lamborghini.

Lamborghini's solution has been to make the hybrid architecture part of the next generation of its design language.

The Revuelto is clearly more technologically sophisticated than its predecessors, yet its low stance, dramatic cabin, aggressive intakes and visible V12 preserve the emotional qualities associated with Lamborghini.
Its design is therefore not a rejection of the past.
It is Lamborghini using its past as the structural foundation for its future.
